How to Decrease (p2tog)
Stitches | 1 min read time
We use this technique to decrease the number of stitches in our row.
Insert your right-hand needle through the front of the first two stitches on your left-hand needle.
With the yarn in front of the needles, wrap it around the tip of the right-hand needle, anti-clockwise.
Using the tip of the right needle, draw the loop down and through the 2 left stitches.
Slide these 2 stitches off of your left-hand needle.
You have now purled 2 stitches together, decreasing your knitting by one stitch.
