Step-by-step guide
Step 1:
Insert your right-hand needle through the front of the first two stitches on your left-hand needle.
Step 2:
With the yarn in front of the needles, wrap it around the tip of the right-hand needle, anti-clockwise.
Step 3:
Using the tip of the right needle, draw the loop down and through the 2 left stitches.
Step 4:
Slide these 2 stitches off of your left-hand needle.
Step 5:
You have now purled 2 stitches together, decreasing your knitting by one stitch.
