In this video we'll show you how to crochet into the front loop of your stitches.
You can work into the front loop using any of the main crochet stitches and techniques!

Step-by-step guide

Step 1:

We'll be using Single Crochet stitches (Double Crochet in UK terminology) and a contrast colour yarn.

Step 2:

The front loop of your stitch is the front leg of the 'V' shape. Insert your hook under this strand only.

Step 3:

Now we'll work a Single Crochet stitch. Once you've inserted your hook, yarn over and pull through the loop.

Step 4:

Yarn over again, and pull through both loops on your hook.

Step 5:

You have now worked into the front loop of a stitch!
