We supply all-in-one knitting kits, online tutorials and hold knitting workshops in London. Our products are stocked in high-end department stores including John Lewis and Liberty, and we’ve collaborated with top brands including AirBnB, Soda Pictures, My Little Box and Sophie La Giraffe.

Our company is growing and we need someone who can contribute to a fun, exciting, and ambitious startup!


About the role

Bringing new partners on board, you’ll be in charge of generating new B2B and B2C leads as well as maintaining our existing customer relationships. You’ll be expected to drive business growth by seeking new collaboration opportunities that fits with Stitch & Story’s values and ethos. You’ll work through an entire sales cycle; from negotiations to invoicing, updating CRM systems and responding to customer queries. There may be occasional travelling required for trade shows and related events.

We have ambitious growth plans for the next 3 years so this opportunity offers exciting challenges and career opportunities to anyone passionate about working in an entrepreneurial environment.


We are looking for...

Someone who is forward-thinking, positive and proactive to join our small team. A passion for crafts and gifts, you’ll have a good understanding for retail and have a genuine desire to build excellent relationships both internally and externally. You’ll be someone who loves getting stuck in with new challenges and have a desire to make a difference in a startup environment.

You share our business values and ethos - being brave, curious and always learning, as well as people-focused. You excel at working in a fast-paced and continually changing environment and love to share new ideas and learn new things everyday.  

Alongside this you’ll have 1+ years experience in sales with a proven track-record of securing deals. You are a skilled communicator both face-to-face, on the phone and in writing. You’re naturally charming, charismatic and able to establish rapport with your customers. You’ll have some knowledge of using CRM systems and be very organised and able to prioritise a wide range of tasks. You are able to interpret data and have good numerical skills. Knowledge in crafts is a plus!

The job is based in North Greenwich, London.
